During an interview with News18 India, Aamir Khan officially announced the wedding date for his daughter, Ira Khan, sharing that she will tie the knot with her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, on January 3, 2024. The actor also showered praise on his future son-in-law, describing him as a wonderful young man. Aamir Khan went on to disclose how Nupur provided crucial support to Ira during her struggle with depression and emphasized their happiness as a couple. The affectionate father also expressed that Nupur has become an integral part of their family and is like a son to him. During the interview, he discussed his hiatus and mentioned that it had a positive impact on his relationships within the family.
